Congratulations to Deanne Sparr, simpleQuE’s new President!

Jim Lee, former President and now CEO of simpleQuE, is happy to announce the promotion of Deanne Sparr from Executive VP/COO to President.  “I hoped when I hired Deanne that she would one day be running my company,” said Jim Lee. “She’s that impressive of an individual with strong convictions and determination, and a proven track record of success.”  This move allows Jim to devote his time more fully to enhancing simpleQuE’s industry knowledge-leadership position while developing the vision and mission for the business to serve its customers as the industry changes.

“I am thrilled, honored and humbled to be in this new role,” said Deanne.  “As the fifth simpleQuE employee hired in 2014, it has been fun to be part of a growing company, to serve our client family.  I am blessed to work with our management team and over 25 consultants, auditors and trainers across the country.”

Deanne’s Background

Deanne’s background includes working for a Certification Body for over a decade as a Lead Auditor for four business standards and a Project Manager for sales development while operating her successful consulting business for 7 years. In addition, Deanne has worked extensively in the automotive industry and was a quality assurance manager at a Tier I automotive company. Prior to that, she held managerial, quality, and engineering roles.

In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Akron, Deanne holds an MBA from Ashland University.  Her collective professional experience and leadership skills make her an ideal President to lead simpleQuE to the next level.

Deanne’s interest in quality management began early in her career.  One month after starting her first job, she was asked where she would see herself in 5 years.  She replied that she was interested in something in Quality Management. The very next day she was tasked with leading the company’s ISO efforts, which led to becoming one of the first 500 companies certified in the state of Ohio.

Deanne now has over 25 years of experience in quality, manufacturing and certification and has provided consulting support to companies across a wide range of industries in service, manufacturing, automotive and aerospace, to secure their Quality Management System certifications.
